I was a State Law Enforcement Officer, responsible for the supervision of adult felony offenders and designated juvenile offenders. Some were granted parole or a reprieve by the State Board of Pardons and Paroles, while others received probated or split sentences by Georgia courts. I conducted regular visits to their employment and residence to monitor their conduct and ensure compliance with the conditions of their release. I conducted regular interviews with probation/parolees, as well as their employers, friends, neighbors and family members, to ensure compliance with the terms of their release. I conducted regular drug and alcohol screenings. I maintained records of their conduct, and documented any violations. As needed, I obtained arrest warrants for those who have violated the conditions of their release. I assisted other law enforcement agencies with matters coming to their attention, as they related to those individuals under my charge. I counseled individuals in an ongoing effort to keep them from returning to the ways which led to their incarceration. I created and maintained documents, case files, reports, etc. as related to my duties.
