I currently train and assess candidates working towards their Digital Applications and Business Administration apprenticeships, making sure that targets are met and support and guidance is given to the candidate throughout the qualification.

Assessing candidates in their workplace, conducting observations, gathering a variety of evidence from the candidate in order to meet awarding body standards. SVQ’s in Business Administration L3, Providing Financial Services L2 and 3 and AAT levels 3 and 4 across a variety of different organisations and locations within Scotland.

Assessing candidates using E-portfolio system and paper based portfolios to gain Customer Service, Business Administration, Advice and Guidance and Retail qualifications.

I am currently employed to continue with the contract started by City and Guilds 4 Business within a major retailer in the UK. I am continuing to offer colleagues support and guidance towards the SVQ Retail Levels 2 and 3 qualifications.

City and Guilds 4 Business; I am personally responsible for assessing a caseload of 53 candidates working towards an SVQ in Retail Levels 2 and 3 qualifications. My candidates include inexperienced colleagues, special needs colleagues and experienced colleagues from all backgrounds. My role is to ensure that all evidence is current, reliable, sufficient and authentic and to give support and guidance to the candidate throughout their qualification. During my time with CG4B, I have assisted in getting the team Direct Claim status for various awards, including being observed and receiving favourable feedback from OFSTED.

During my time as an assessor with Glasgow Training Group, I have assessed candidates in financial institutions, public transport and services, major Scottish companies and the general office environment. My candidates were mostly based within the Glasgow area; however, I also assess candidates in Ayr, Greenock, and Aberdeen. SVQ's I was responsible for supporting were Business Administration Levels 2 and 3, Customer Service L2 and 3 and Advice and Guidance Levels 3 and 4.I was also involved with the JET program in Edinburgh for 3 years; helping school candidates (14-16) obtain a vocational qualification when placed at a work placement. This includes delivering weekly training on all aspects of customer service and administration from what is an organisation, dealing with customer complaints, legislation and employability skills training.I also achieved the Internal Verifier award in my time with GTG in 2004.

Right Track is a charitable organisation aiming to help those who have either been long term unemployed, behavioral problems or have special needs. My main roles at Right Track were to assess trainees in the workplace and were working mainly towards their Levels 2 and 3 qualifications in Administration and Customer Service.

High Cash cashierIn the five years that I worked with the Halifax, I gained considerable experience in dealing with clients and all aspects of customer service. My main role was to assist customers with the everyday running of their accounts, upgrading customer accounts and providing the use of other services within the Halifax organisation. Through working within busy city centre branches, I have proven my ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines and sales targets.I achieved D32 and D33 qualifications in my time with the Halifax.
