Currently working on the data migration work stream of a project to bring in a new replacement forestry management system called Cengea Forest. The data is migrating from the legacy Oracle database backend to SQL Server 2012. Software in use for the migration includes Microsoft SSIS, SSMA and Esri ArcSDE for the spatial data. I have also installed SQL Server Reporting Services and am designing various reports and preparing to migrate legacy Crystal Reports over to the new reporting platform.

I first worked in a small close knit team working shift in the Clearing Department. After 3 years in that role I was promoted to the Command Centre in Service Delivery to work on shift as a computer operator looking after the IBM Mainframes and batch jobs running on the various systems.
