At Weiss Asset Management, I serve as a Systems Administrator focused on developing and enhancing our global infrastructure across multiple regions, including Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, India, Australia, and the US. *Monitor Azure Cloud services and network traffic for security events and potential threats*Conduct vulnerability assessments and research penetration testing to evaluate the security of cloud-based and network systems*Collaborate with other IT teams to design and enhance security architectures for cloud and network deployments*Develop and maintain incident response plans and lead investigations into security breaches and data requests*Provide expert guidance on security best practices to technical and non-technical staff. Work with others in LIS to deliver cyber security awareness training to all staff and members of the MA General Court*Work with senior LIS management on Data classification initiatives and implementation of DLP*Implement and manage security controls by leveraging all tools available within our Azure environments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This includes adherence to the Zero Trust Policy and security foundations of Microsoft Azure including: Identity Access Management (IAM), Perimeter Security, Data protection and encryption, and security monitoring and threat protection

*Advise clients on how to use cloud computing to achieve their business goals*Utilize PowerShell and Power Automate to automate routine tasks, reducing manual intervention and improving overall operational efficiency*Create customized solutions and migration proposals*Design and implement robust identity and access management solutions, leveraging Entra ID to enhance security and streamline the user authentication processes*Configure virtual networks and site to site VPN connections
