I have a passion for manufacturing and making things, but also enjoy the challenge of fulfilling a market need and also turning loss making into profit, often via rationalisation.Experience in vending (machine) industry and since 2018 as an AVA Board Member, and white/brown goods. High appreciation of lean and have consulted in it and supplying change and improvement programmes. Goals are for Excalibur to be THE leading refurbisher of vending machines in Europe, and establishing Excalibur as a branded product. With the fantastic support of the team we are growing a great reputation for quality of our work which is a giant step towards that goal. We are reviewing our strategy with a view to providing a fuller service provision.Specialities: Sheet metal, plastics industry and processes as well as electro-mechanic assembly.Lean Manufacturing. We have developed our skills and customer service levels so that we are expanding to provide machines that install right first time and make that a promise.We are also now challenging our future strategy to establish a fuller service provision and to develop the Excalibur brand.In April 2015 the Sheet Metal business was sold to enable Excalibur to focus on the refreshment side, and to develop it's contribution to the Refreshment and Vending industry. In August 2015 we also bought new premises, still in Bilston, and are very excited at the prospect of developing the business in our own premises.
