Richard Steeve Giraud is the Founder and CEO of ArtVendôme - the world’s first international high jewellery and jewellery fair curated for a public audience of collectors and enthusiasts. The inaugural edition of ArtVendôme will take place at the Grand Palais Éphémère, Paris, from 31 January – 3 February 2024.Richard’s passion for jewellery began when he was a teenager. While at University in Paris, he enrolled for an external course in gemmology and started collecting shortly after. As his desire to source increasingly exceptional and eclectic pieces grew, Richard travelled and met other collectors, with whom he found a shared enchantment with the creativity of jewellery design. It was through conversations with fellow enthusiasts that he was inspired to launch ArtVendôme, creating a platform where the true art of jewellery could be encountered, understood and celebrated.An appreciation for art has always been in Richard’s family: his brother is one of the founders of the famous GPS Contemporary Art Gallery in New York and Richard himself is an avid art collector. He prides himself on his diverse collection, encompassing modern and contemporary works as well as antique pieces. In everything Richard collects, it is the creative spark behind the work that catches his attention. Through ArtVendôme, he is excited to share his passion with a broad and international public audience and to create moments of discovery.Born in Marseille, Richard built his career advising local and international clients on exclusive real estate investments for over 23 years. Now based in Belgravia, London, since 2007, he has access to a wide range of exclusive properties, many of them ‘off-market’. He provides discreet and confidential advice, working with a limited number of clients to ensure they receive the best service. Richard has a natural flair for finding the perfect property for his clients with a passion for design and architecture, sharing his expertise with them to help shape a ‘sur-mesure’ home.Richard divides his time between London, Paris and Tuscany, where he is carrying out his latest real estate project.
