Having started my career in 1982, I have developed over 34 years of experience in the retail having worked for Progressive Enterprise in a variety of roles, from Store Manager (13 years) to Online Operations Manager (7 years). Over the last seven years, I have taken up a role with Messenger Services to support a key customer relationship, including overseeing a fleet of 140 trucks and vans, as well as providing business expertise and advice back to our key client. Consequently, my various fast-paced experience across multiple projects has given me a vast number of skills and enabled me to lead large teams in the implementation of key company strategic objectives.My main area of expertise includes coordinating all day-to-day operations, while acting as the first point of contact for all supplier and stakeholder correspondence and queries.More specifically, I have excelled previously in the e-commerce environment at Countdown, where I supported the development of a national network of fulfilment centres to drive extensive sales growth and implemented a widely recognised delivery vehicle tailored to the food safety requirements of the customer.Over the last seven years I have further developed my skillset in the delivery of logistics solutions for a rapidly growing area of the WWNZ business, applying a collaborative approach with business partners to support sales growth and last mile delivery experience solutions.As a person, I possess necessary organisational skills, can concisely think in critical moments, and hold strong written and oral communication. Those personal skills have been essential in me being able to convey complex information in an understandable manner.My current career aspiration is to return to the e-commerce space, where I can help an innovative company drive maximum profit and efficiency, while continually challenging myself in the industry.
