| Transition Lead | Arden UniversityI am currently appointed Transition Lead, on a short-term role for Arden University. My role as Transition lead was to stabilise the cut over process, by leading cut over dress rehearsals, and quickly build stakeholder relationships to allow me to develop a quality cut over plan, for a student information system transformation. The University had previously tried to undertake a student information system transformation on 3 previous occasions, without success. The cut over is now successfully complete, and the business are in the ramp up phase with a low number of defects. This project has stood out due to great leadership as well as a fantastic collaboration of colleagues and a lack of politics !

As cutover lead who responsible for the global cutover transformation. I was responsible for a team of 5 -7 cutover managers, to deliver a highly complex technical and business cutovers on multi market releases on a £200 million+ program of works. I have been responsible for developing the cutover strategy & approach, whilst minimising business risk. I have a hands on approach to supporting my cutover team to ensure that whilst developing a global template we also consider local ways of working both culturally and from a behaviors perspective. I have led the development of the cutover plans, cutover dress rehearsals for both technical and business aspects. I have also been responsible for leading cutover governance during go no go meetings to ensure each cutover is delivered on time to minimise business interruption.The programme has been complex whilst bringing the legacy platforms onto a single instance of S4/Hana. The integrations across procurement, finance commercial have been complex. Whilst the volumes of material across manufacturing supply chain and warehouse have been significant. I have experience moving WM to EWM systems on 3 occasions in Nordics markets and my current release has 7 EWM sites.

Yorkshire

In this role I developed the cut over approach and delivery of a successful migration of the central finance data from SAP ECC 6.0 into SAP S/4 Hana using a C-Fin data replication tool.It was my responsibility to prepare the business and project teams to develop and deliver cutover. I have also been responsible for project governance, which included the development and management of Go / No Go criteria and stage gate meetings with the project governance team. I was responsible for the development of cross functional and business cutover plans to develop a single end to end consolidated plan.This role was particularly challenging as the go live date occurred during the financial year end period. As such we adapted our deployment approach to minimise impact to the business and project related resource.One of my responsibilities was to ensure that the Ariba team completed the technical build and prepared the vendors for a future migration to Ariba from the legacy system.
