Senior geoprofessional within ENGEO's Bay of Plenty team providing a range of geotechnical, engineering geological and contaminated land services to our infrastructure and development clients, at both a regional and national level. Typically acting in the role of project management and technical leadership I have a passion for ground engineering risk management, particularly with a view of managing construction phase risk and ensuring long term resilient and sustainable designs. My geological work experience extends to management of large investigations, ground modelling, parametric assessment, a range of quantitative geotechnical analyses (slope instability, settlement, liquefaction), earthworks design and construction monitoring. This skillset extends into regional and site specific natural hazard assessment, asset management and complimentary advisory services. My environmental work includes but not limited to: contaminated site assessments (PSIs/DSIs), specific risk assessments, management planning, remediation design, peer review and expert witness. This focusses on a range of media (including water, ground gas and vapour), and looking for opportunity to add value to our clients work beyond simply regulatory compliance. I am both a Certified Environmental Professional Site Contamination Specialist (CEnvP:SC) with the Environmental Institute of Australia and New Zealand and a Chartered Member of Engineering New Zealand (PEngGeol). I am also an accredited by Tauranga City Council as a Category 1 Geo-professional.

Assistant Consultant with Entec's (now AMEC) contaminated land management team based in Bristol. Role included management of contaminated site assessments and remediation projects across the UK. Project work included desktop studies, radiological contamination assessment and management, forensic hydrocarbon analysis, gas and groundwater monitoring studies, validation work etc.

MSc placement with site investigation contractor based in Bristol, UK. Role included management of site investigations, soil and rock logging, data analysis and interpretation, preparation of desktop studies and costing small site investigation jobs. MSc dissertation completed on geotechnical (geological modelling, data analysis, pile foundation design) and environmental assessment (Stage 1 and 2 Land Quality Assessment) for several new building structures as part of the Gloucestershire Royal Infirmary redevelopment project.
