I am currently the daytime Operatations Manager at Harbor Freights Tools DFW Regional Distribution Center. In the pass 6 years i have managed the Planning and Support department for 3 years, followed by the Direct To Consumer department and transitioned to the Pick Pack Stocking department.

Supervisor for Shipping, Receiving, Location Control and Pick Modules. Overseeing group supervisor on daily assignments of subordinates, manage Kronos system, coach and reinforced on policy compliance, process improvement in a Six Sigma Lean environment. I had trained all departments I have overseen to be cross functional, this was to allow for flexibility in labor work assignment. Trained supervisors on Excel and Access programs to develop my peers and subordinates. Over a 13 years period I had partnered with Asset Protection on internal investigations and policy compliance. Spent a year and a half training in DOT policies and lead our buildings initial HazMat Handling restructuring to comply with Dot and California HazCom and large waste production regulations. I have reviewed staffing needs prior to peak season and adjusted staffing to meet needs. Have interviewed and terminated team members when needed.

Work with Function manager to review daily volumes to schedule staffing assignments for team, managed department hours, budget, processes and policy compliance. Gathered and shared data with manager and upper level management. Tracked department progress and shared team member performance results. Trained team members on department progresses and equipment relevant to assigned task. Worked on team building projects to engage team members and improve throughput and procedures.
