I was manager of the Ag Newspaper Today's Farmer that had a circulation of 15,500 and covered Essex, Kent, Lambton, Middlesex, Elgin, Huron and Oxford county for the last 20 years. I was also responsible for overseeing the Tilbury & Wheatley This Week - circulation of 9600 which was discontinued in October 2014 due to economics and duplication of another product and the Bothwell Leader Spirit - a circulation of 4600 up to Aug 1, 2013. For the past year I was the sole sales person for Today's Farmer covering Essex to Oxford county. My responsibilities included maintaining a large client list, both print and digital sales, both local and National. I was also responsible for maintaining a continual growth in my area serviced. When l was manager of Tilbury & Wheatley This Week l oversaw 2 other reps and managing and helping provide solutions that my reps where able to present to their potential client while staying within there budget. I was also responsible for providing weekly reports, dealing with clients at a national level and providing unique ideas to help grow the papers. Up until 2015 l was involved in selling the Autonet for this region which involves seeing automotive customers regarding their website. In 2015 l took a more active role in helping grow Digital Sales. I also assist my counterparts in analyzing current website and making suggestion on how to improve their present website dealing with SEM & SEO, inventory upload and mobile website.Along with print and digital l also serviced a large number of flyers clients that l would contact on a monthly bases. My responsibility there is to secure the booking, provide a distribution map in determining where they need to run there flyers to get the best bang for their dollars. Submit the booking to accounting and make sure the flyers arrive at our warehouse on time for delivery.For the past 17 years l was also the Health & Safety rep for Sun Media in chatham (now Post Media).
