In my role as Problem Management & Continuous Improvement Manager at Collins Aerospace, I played a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and quality. Focusing on ISO 9001:2015 standards, I developed the Problem Management Program and streamlined critical incident resolution processes. This experience uniquely positions me for precision and quality assurance roles.• Chaired Daily Operations Briefing to review daily program change orders to systems and platforms to ensure accuracy.• Chaired Daily Ticket Review Briefing analyzing all new trouble tickets to identify critical incidents impacting customer operations.• Created SharePoint repository for Problem Management and Failure Review Board Artifacts, including templates.• Managed the Problem Management and Failure Review Board program.• Served as the escalation point for Priority 1 incidents and initiated the Failure Review Board/After Action Review process.• Scheduled Failure Review Board with internal stakeholders within two business days of restoral of an incident or when a work around was implemented.• Utilized standard Quality Assurance tools (i.e.: 5 Why, Fishbone, and Fault Tree) to identify root causes of incidents.• Determined if the root cause of the incident was due to a Collins non-conformance or a 3rd party vendor non-conformance through the FRB.• For incidents related to vendor escapes, engaged with Collins Procurement and the applicable vendor to develop an improvement plan.• Assisted in writing the incident narrative, including the root cause and fix actions to external customers.• Worked with corrective After Action Item owners to establish due dates of identified actions to ensure Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement.• Leveraged Project Management experience to schedule cadence meetings and touchpoints to check and track the status of action items to ensure corrective actions are delivered on-time.
