Providing Concept Packaging Group part time Process Engineering services that concentrate on converting machine set up and run improvements, waste reduction, quality and operation enhancements utilizing Toyota Production System methodology and Lean Thinking. Presently, I'm working in the off season to Grandview Waterfront Products and this field of work is core to my academic and early career training. Concept Packaging Group has 2 manufacturing facilities located in Spartanburg SC and Georgetown KY along with multiple remote packaging/warehousing facilities east of the Mississippi.

Grandview Waterfront Products sells, services and installs Wave Armor PWC ports, swim rafts and floating docks, Shoremaster aluminum and floating dock systems, Polydock floating dock systems, Shoreline aluminum post docks and Rhino floating boat lifts. Formally known as Commercial Pallet, our facility has leased a majority of the manufacturing and warehouse space to Tooketree Passive Homes, a low carbon footprint, environmentally friendly fabricator of pre-fab floor and wall housing panels. Inside the lower shop, Grandview Waterfront Products continues to manufacture the Sun Pump and the Muskoka Surfboard.

Shoreline/ShoreMaster docks and lifts, Wave Armour swim rafts and PWC ports can be purchased directly from Grandview Waterfront Products while Aquaglide & RAVE water parks and CR Plastic Muskoka chairs can be purchased directly from Cottagespot.com. Customer pick up and deliveries can be also arranged.

Manufacturing Engineer responsible for co-designing and developing the 1st generation layflat and tube welders for Canusa-CPS. Also worked on sheet adhesive coating line modifications (tape dispensor, inkjet systems) and first generation of automated layflat cutting tables. Investigated the viability of a potential later stretching machine line. Finished Canusa in a sales position promoting alternative uses for Canusa heat shrink products. (vacuum air lines, drainage pipe joint protection, concrete pipe joint leakage)
