Led ceramic crossflow membrane product development activities, including improvements that resulted in successful commercial deployment of CeraMem technology in challenging produced water treatment applications in the oil and gas industry. Managed field service group, with responsibilities that included commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting and periodic maintenance of commercial water treatment plants, plus execution of field and laboratory piloting studies as basis for commercial projects. Deployed in selected business development activities. Key member of manufacturing oversight team and IP management team. Key industries served included oil and gas (upstream and downstream applications), primary metals (e.g., steel and aluminum alloy coating), industrial laundries and mining.

Responsible for corporate management (including finance and contract administration) for small business involved in commercialization of innovative ceramic membrane technology and in contract R&D. Key member of team responsible for business development and strategic partnerships. Conceived, planned and managed technology development activities in the field of advanced membrane separations including new materials, products and processes for microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, gas separation, pervaporation and vapor permeation. Oversaw technology (product and process) development efforts in the fields of electrochemical device development, heterogeneous catalysis and nanoparticle product applications. Rainmaker for external R&D funding totaling over $15 M primarily from U.S. government agencies.
