Initially I had 2 contracts, one for 3 days per week at the London Borough of Croydon and one for 2 days per week at Bedford Borough Council (identical projects implementing the same area of Northgate's Swift product). When the Croydon contract terminated I expanded my contract at Bedford to 5 days per week. See below for more details.

Successfully Implemented the client billing system within set time and budget, increasing accuracy along with timing of the invoices, while boosting revenue and reducing number of queried invoices. Tasks included project scoping, business process modelling, test plans, end user training, testing, and go-live support. Alongside the billing system implementation I supported multiple business aspects, including day-to-day tasks, successfully converting the Accounting Code Structure to mirror the Corporate Finance System following a major corporate re-structure whilst maintaining the accuracy of the accounting data feeding through to the corporate system, and writing end user reports which enhanced data quality on the billing system. Following the success if the billing system implementation I joined the procurement team to specify and acquire Swift replacement system, Liquidlogic/ContrOCC. Defined high-level process maps related to system, configured Liquidlogic and ContrOCC system.

I joined Sheridan Systems in 1992, and through both acquisition and take-overs I subsequently worked for Anite Public Sector and Northgate Public Services.My roles over the years encompassed pre-sales demos, tender responses, analysis, design, development, testing, post-implementation support and product implementation. Among the major achievements at Sheridan/Anite/Northgate, I successfully - Headed the project team to define requirements, specifications, design and develop the core social care finance functionality into the company’s mainstream social care product, incorporating budgets management, contracts, invoice payments, costing packages, and bill calculations. I also headed the project team to define and implement customer enhancements. - Headed the project team to define and implement customer enhancements. - Deployed multiple parts of the finance suite in SWIFT and AIS live on customer sites within deadlines to achieve maximum client satisfaction. - Designed and implemented interfaces between Northgate’s mainstream social care product and external scheduling and monitoring systems to enhance accuracy and timely payments to providers as well as timely client charge invoices. - Designed and implemented interfaces from SWIFT and AIS to corporate finance systems, including Oracle, financials, SAP R3, J D Edwards, and Agresso. - Designed a stand-alone mobile financial assessment module and integrated with SWIFT financial assessments. - Established a user group of finance staff within the customer base producing a forum to share information on product and business processes and lead to business development. - Built a strong rapport with clients and attained positive feedbacks along with enthusiastic compliments
