Who is Richard HiteAs a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in somatic approaches for treating trauma I became certified in EMDR in 1991. I immediately knew it was how I wanted to heal my own traumatic stress from childhood. Because I did not know of any other EMDR therapists in southeast Texas I quickly learned how easy it was to use the process for myself with outstanding results. Over the past 30 years I learned how to integrate the eye movement from EMDR with mind/body therapies for clinically treating chronic pain, hypertension and traumatic stress. In 1999 I began touring the continent and saw my first remote clients, while teaching and sharing this work through seminars and workshops.
