Conducts immunohistochemistry staining (CD68, CD163, CD31, NG2, vWF, VEGF, α-SMA and DAPI) of animal explants using both hot and cold antigen recovery techniques to identify the growth of healthy smooth muscle and vasculature facilitated by engineered implants. Also conducts biomechanical testing (biaxial, pressure volume, etc.) of explants.
