Following the acquisition of Asciak Holdaway Merrit Ltd by Erskine Murray and on condition of the sale, I was appointed to continue the leadership of Asciak Holdaway Merrit Ltd, which effectively became the Professional Indemnity division of Erskine Murray. Notable Accomplishments:• Successfully delivered i) client retention rates in excess of 96% with 100% retention achieved on a month to month basis ii) two-year gross income target three months early for the period ending December 2019 • Delivered numerous successful Insurer/client negotiations despite large incurred claims position, for example strengthened a West Country Consulting Engineer’s insured claims position by advising how to present their risk profile and necessary risk management procedures required.• Successfully argued against declinature issued by excess layer insurer on the basis that their position had been prejudiced by the insured’s actions in respect of a extension claim.
