LUK, Inc. is a regional social service nonprofit organization in Central Massachusetts offering an array of child welfare, family support services, and behavioral health services. Our mission is to challenge and support youth, families & adults to recognize and fulfill their unique and productive potential through community-based prevention, intervention and education services. Hearth Connection acts as an intermediary, working with government and community social service agencies to help people break the cycle of long-term homelessness. Our Mission: To build relationships, resources, infrastructure and understanding, so that no one in Minnesota remains homeless, and people who were homeless can prosper. Hearth Connection secures, distributes and leverages government funds for supportive housing. Our vision is to end homelessness in Minnesota and we seek out allies to join us in efforts!

• Developed and coordinated federal policy agenda centered on preventing and ending homelessness for unaccompanied youth including appropriations to the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act programs, child welfare and youth-in-transition policy, and juvenile justice re-entry.• Directed the National Advisory Council on LGBTQ Homeless Youth and co-authored the National Recommended Best Practices in Serving LGBT Homeless Youth.• Identified and promoted effective local programmatic practices and policies that prevent and end youth homelessness.
