Streamlined and improved supply chains by taking over and revamping international shipping. Reduced number of forklifts used by 30%, which was a significant cost savings. Accomplished this by transitioning from electric/gas to electric.Traveled to Washington D.C. to negotiate freight classification proposed increase of Class 125 to maintain current class of 92.5. Results of this negotiation saved a 34% increase on LTL freight. Achieved 20% rate reduction on freight cost by negotiating successfully with Logistics Company. Kept a diverse workforce in productive mode to meet shipping requirements.Drew and implemented crate design for single water softeners, which was adopted. This design significantly reduced freight claims on damaged product from 3-5 freight claims a month to one claim every 4-5 months.Implemented "Magic Logic" Cube IQ software, an optimization of container space, time, and efficiency.

Supervised production lines of up to 60 laborers and assemblers. Responsibilities included overseeing work, preparing timecards for payroll, and facilitating regular department meetings. Met all production deadlines, department goals, performed troubleshooting and resolution of production problems. Directed and co-designed engineering improvements on lines (hopper covers) with an outside vendor, which increased line efficiency. One of the first employees to bring in "Visual Factory" which effectively allowed for reviewing of quality improvement points.
