I am very proud to be part of the team at Australian Native Landscape Constructions (ANLC). ANLC offer clients a full range of landscape and civil construction services, which include Design, Construction and Maintenance. Their success stems from their ability to deliver high quality projects on time and budget consistently. They achieve these results by working closely with their clients from the outset to understand their client’s specific needs relating directly to the project.ANLC's strength in providing clients with extensive assistance throughout the tender phase in Design and Value Management has been one of their major contributing factors to their success. This early phase is critical to ensuring the client receives the most economical, efficient and sustainable results, by utilising key innovative solutions in the Landscape and Construction industry.ANLC currently employs qualified experienced staff in both hard and soft landscaping who all have a strong focus on attention to detail. They currently employ 80 staff between their combined divisions, giving them the capability and strength to complete projects valued at up to and over $10million.ANLC is compliant with the national code of practice with the construction industry, has rail accreditation, an EBA with the CFMEU and is a long term member of Landscaping Victoria.ANLC has also recently achieved ISO accreditation, committing to the highest level of quality, safety and environmental standards on all projects.

My role on the Glen Huntly Reservoir Redvelopment as a Project Engineer allowed me to test my diverse PM skills on a complex and exciting project valued at $12M. I worked on the implementation phase of a keystone open space redevelopment project involving civil, building and landscape works project. I supported the Senior Project Manager during the detailed design, and tender phases with some construction and delivery management. My role on this project included:• Strong contract management skills• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and coordinate with project specifications• Extensive experience in procurement and tender process• Understanding of timelines and building methodologies for large, complex open space projects.

• Project managing various civil projects ranging from $250,000 to $5,000,000 in value.• Civil projects including road upgrades, bridge renewals, CBD upgrades, car parks, retaining walls and landscaping;• Estimating and tendering for RMS highway upgrade projects;• Procurement of all major civil supplies;• Preparing Tender Requests and Subcontract Agreements for major works;• Programming and forecasting major projects;• Managing safety, quality, and environmental aspects of site in accordance with site management plans and current Legislation;• Review of project designs from concept through to IFC;• Training works supervisors to be responsible for project efficiency; • Subcontractor management; and• Reporting to senior management.

• Managing earthworks, bridges, box culverts, drainage, services and pavements for 2km section of the 8km upgrade;• Leading and motivating my workforce to achieve project targets;• Maintaining a strong relationship with the client (RMS) through conducting workshops for high risk activities such as installation of bridge beams and coordination of traffic switches;• Budgeting (forecasting and costing);• Planning works and developing solutions to problems;• Mentoring graduate and site engineers in regards to RMS specification requirements;• Managing safety, quality and environmental aspects of site in accordance with site management plans and current Legislation; and• Management of subcontractors; and• Reporting to senior management.
