* Formulate strategies that consider aspects such as supply base rationalization, development & spend management, segmentation for geographic considerations, specific needs of plants and/or customers, new technologies, new supply options, cost management goals and mitigation of supply risks.* Ensure all the category's internal customers are aware and share the strategy and projects by collaborating with the Regional Procurement Leads.* Manage RFP process across regions, set negotiation strategy and direction, include appropriate regional team members and execute category related negotiation.* Create, maintain, and enforce all category-related frame contracts with the objective of minimizing ‘one off’ purchase orders which are labor intensive and inefficient.* Drive cost reductions where possible while maintaining supply flexibility and container availability.* Coordinate with relevant partners (sales, procurement, logistics, supply chain) to support the business with unplanned movement of goods, as needed.* Run short-dated RFQ's and help expedite and report on the process of critical and time-sensitive shipments.* Drive process enhancements across regional purchasing categories that reduces procurement costs and improves procurement systems.

• Provide oversight to the procurement specialists in purchase order processing and problem resolution.• Provide oversight to the audit specialist in audit processes and resolution.• Works with contracts team on solving procurement issues.• Provide oversight to the procurement specialist in reconciliation process and adjustment resolution.• Supervise and evaluate effectiveness of procurement processes, suggesting tools and changes for more efficient and effective order processing and customer service.• Supervise and evaluate procurement and audit staff and oversee daily functions; recommend hiring and termination of procurement and audit staff.• Review contract audits.• Provide required and requested periodic procurement data to the Director of CJ LOGISTICS INDONESIA• Conduct periodic procurement and audit staff meetings.• Provide back up for and input into the annual budget and audit.• Provide internal audit on active purchase orders for problem resolution.• Those obligations imposed by applicable rules, regulations and statutes, and other duties assigned by the Director of CJ LOGISTICS INDONESIA

1. Supervises purchasing processes and provides guidance to meet goals and objectives of the department.2. Seeks opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality3. Work directly with Regional/Corporate Purchasing to ensure Regional/National agreements are effective.4. Ensures inventory levels are maintained at appropriate levels as to limit excess while meeting plant needs without interruption and coordinates purchasing activities with other departments to maintain inventory at predetermined levels.5. Negotiates with suppliers to obtain optimal products and pricing.6. Participates in problem resolution with suppliers for material quality or customer service problems.7. Maintains records of materials, prices, inventories, and deliveries and prepares purchasing inventory reports as directed.8. Reviews purchase requisitions and prepares purchase orders, consults catalogs and other references to obtain prices and specifications, contacts vendors and suppliers for quotes, and sources new suppliers as needed or to increase purchasing power9. Research the supplier market for proper source of materials/services to be ordered. Analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and proper pricing method.10. Check and compare quotations for completeness and accuracy and perform negotiations with the suppliers.11. Communicate with user departments in buying the correct material, quantity at the correct time and at the total lowest cost without sacrificing quality.12. Maintain continued working relationships with vendor representatives, making plant visits to supplier facilities whenever the situation warrants.13. Locate buyers for surplus materials, equipment and scrap; obtain bids and negotiate sale.14. Keep abreast of new trends in purchasing techniques and continue to work with projects to achieve standardization and cost reduction.15. Follows up on outstanding purchase orders and expedites the purchase and delivery of materials, supplies, or parts.
