Coordinate and promote activities of an organization to promote education and preservation in regard to the American Civil War era. Tasks are recruiting, developing structure, expand knowledge in the local communities as well as relationships with history and community groups. Oversaw the expansion of membership nationally, formation of member onboarding kits, partnering with organizations with similar interests to extend reach, applying for and receiving grants to fund organization operations and projects, working with Volunteer Match to locate volunteers to assist on projects where skills were unavailable in-house, the design, and printing of promotional materials, applying for and receiving State [League of Historical Societies of New Jersey outstanding newsletter 2018, 2023] and National awards [2022 Civil War Round Table Congress Innovation Award, 2023 CWRT-C Sustainability Challenge] for the organization, creation of welcoming culture including regular communication with members and volunteers, and documentation of processes and procedures. Worked on the campaign to raise funds and coordinate placement of the Civil War Trails sign in Williamsburg, VA. to commemorate New Jersey troops who fought there. Activities include Symposiums, luncheons, trips, lecture series, displays, and visits to other round tables.

Attended games to date at 279 Minor League Ballparks across the county. Includes all levels from AAA to College Summer League. Attended games at 37 Major League ballpark including 24 of the current ones. Sampled good local foods, met interesting people and learned much about each area.

The committee will be responsible for the core aspects of the conference. Working with staff, issue a call for programs, and select concurrent sessions. They coordinate the session schedule and manage the logistics for virtual sessions. They determine the feasibility and cost of pre-conference sessions and plan accordingly. They advise the president and CEO on potential keynote speakers.

Coordinate relationships between Civil War Round Tables and promote attendance at annual conference. Serve on National Board to educate and stimulate Civil War Round Tables to become sustainable entities by providing Civil War Round Tables with resources and advice about marketing, member recruitment, fundraising, governance and/or other organizational development information.

As OLA Board member, planned and executed activities for students in the Organizational Leadership Doctorate program at Stockton University. Events included summer BBQ, leadership lectures and panels, Winter event, Hooding ceremony, and dissertation training session, Other actions included treasurer duties of preparing paperwork for funding, preparing budget and training next treasurer.

Work to reconnect with APO alumni in Southern New Jersey to update on recent advances, make aware of opportunities to serve and validate contact information.

Served as Functional Lead for DSCP for Solution Delivery Team doing system planning for DLA Product Data Management Initiative. Interacted with Process Owner and Project Lead during Business Architecture and Blue Printing into Design. Represented DSCP commodities and BSM interests in the program. Cooperated with representatives from other Supply Centers, DLIS, DLA and Armed Services working with contractors to design an Enterprise-wide Solution to neet the Technical Data needs of DLA. Developed Key Performance Indicators anmd metrics to process performance Worked with team to develop training material, participated in presenting training assigned areas. Provided update briefs to PDMI Site Lead and Change Management Specialist.

Team Leader for Glove and Wet Weather Team on Organizational Clothing CBU. Coordinated multifunction team of Specialists to resolve challenges that arose in meeting the customers objectives to get a quality product for assigned end items. Provided briefings informal/formal to CBU Product Executive and Deputy Director on status of technical/quality issues affecting team items. DAWIA [Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act] Quality Assurance Level II Certification. Completed Executive Leadership Program. Served intern periods with House of Representatives Office of Procurement and Park Service Jamestown 400 project.
