- Responsible for the financial tracking and reporting of GCCF, which is Florida’s largest community foundation. - Work closely with the Board of Directors and Finance Committee in managing over $230,000,000 in investable assets. - Manage and track over 500 funds to ensure the integrity of the funds are kept. Work with various non-profits in the area to assist them in their asset management. - Complete responsibility for the annual audit and all tax compliance- Built a budget from scratch each year as every expense was reviewed and justified based upon the determined spend policies.

- Manage all seven of the companies accounting functions, which involved consolidated financial statements, projected cash flows, general ledger, financial reporting, A/R, A/P and internal audits.- Identify and mitigate business and operational risks, with accountability for budgeting, banking, tax planning/compliance, accounting, purchasing, customer service, payables/receivables, HR, IT and legal. - Reduced outstanding account receivables from 35 days to 12 days, improving cash flow.

- Recruited to this originally $11 million operation in which the company grew to a $46 million dollar operation with accountability for financial operations, accounting, customer service, IT, HR, warehouse and legal. - Directed strategic/operational planning, forecasting, budgeting, treasury, cash management, risk management, payables, receivables, capital investment, credit and closing/reporting activities.- Implemented quarterly/annual Sarbanes-Oxley testing. - Championed the development and implementation of a balanced scorecard business performance reporting tool to evaluate monthly results of sales team.

- Worked with the CEO to turn around a manufacturing company recently brought out of bankruptcy. We focused on productivity and efficiency improvements that brought the company to profitability allowing its sale 4 years later for over $10M- Directed financial management functions including development of monthly/quarterly financial statements, financial forecasts and budgets.- Oversee general accounting functions, including AR/AP, HR, IT and cash management for 3 plants. - Responsible for the purchasing of raw materials and negotiating contracts with major vendors.- Developed a cost accounting system to track profitability as raw material costs changed. Used this system to effectively assist sales in winning large contracts.- Provided the due diligence necessary in the review of 2 site locations the company wished to acquire. Reviewed the P&L, balance sheet and created pro-formas for acquisition. The acquisition was successful with the 2 plants integrated and projected cost savings achieved.
