Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal- stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies andcustomers- Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels ofquality and service within budgetary requirements- Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs- Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports orexports or customer issues- Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes,product volumes or carriers and report results to others- Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes in potentialnew facilities or plants and advise of cost implications and efficiency- Set departmental objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoingperformance of direct reports- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected with thelogistics process- Ensure all completed orders are dispatched on time- Ensure products are shipped appropriately to ensure quality of goodsduring transportation- Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmosphere- Provide analytical, problem solving and organisational skills- Managed the daily operations, administration, and marketing of the business.
