I am interested in putting my fifty-five years of political volunteer experience, three years of paid experience, and all of the work I have been doing in Frederick County, Maryland to work for the Democratic Party and Progressives to win for them in every race in 2024. I hope a review of my documents will assist you to determine how I could best serve in your advertised job opening. I am the staff member you have been searching for. I can offer a strong work ethic, customer service orientation, and a lifetime of practical work and community service in service to the Democratic party and progressive issues and campaigns. I have had training in campaigns from the National Democratic Training Committee Blue Bench and the Maryland Democratic Party in prior years.As an acknowledged leader in Frederick County for my voter registration and education efforts (I am the 2024 Outstanding Volunteer) as well as the person doing all voter registration/education for Frederick Community College since 2018 (2024 Award of Excellence for Outstanding Support of a Campus Initiative) I believe I can help teach and recruit others throughout Maryland and elsewhere to be successful in these areas. I am also a trained canvasser with multiyear experience with MiniVan who can train and mentor others in that area.I have an extensive background in all aspects of politics including formal training. I am now fully retired and pursuing an educational program with both the Institute for Learning in Retirement classes at Frederick Community College as well as auditing one credit class for fun each semester. I earned an Associate Degree in General Studies with honors in December 2018, History with High Honors in 2020 and Arts and Humanities/Communications in May of this year.I firmly believe I can be an asset to any organization and look forward to working with yours!
