Vice President Global Supply Chain & Logistics North America
CurrentResponsible for the Global Supply Chain. Defining the strategy and direction of the department in line with the principles and values of the organization. With governance over setting policy; defining process and procedures in the areas of inventory and materials management; transportation; customer demand; supply planning and plant logistics.Responsibilities include:- 120 mUSD Logistics operating budget- 750 team members across North America- 190 mUSD in inventories under management- Determining the inventory and materials management targets in line with the financial objective of the organization- Interface across business divisions and regions best practices; innovations and process improvements- Optimization of the Global Supply chain using a total landed cost methodology - Defining strategy and vision with the introduction of world class innovation and technologies - Identify Business systems enhancements with SAP that further optimizes the procedures and bring efficiency to the operation- Provide oversight to the plants, direction in the use of Lean principles to drive operational excellence- Ongoing risk mitigation and contingency planning in the Global Supply Chain- Monitor plant and supplier capacity constraints based on customer demand- Manage Global 3PL partners across sea freight and road freight networks- Provide direction and mentorship to the team members in the organization.
