Centre Pivot span configurations are plotted onto the model whereby all the angles and allowable slope percentages are checked. Problem areas are identified, altered and then re-modelled to a new surface and the difference is the cut and fill amounts which enables the Centre Pivot to rotate in its circle within the manufacturer's specification. Made available to you are the volumes required to be priced by earth-moving contractors of your choice. The 3D surface model is able to be uploaded to GPS controlled earth-moving equipment for the ramps and contouring work to be undertaken.This gives you peace of mind that the centre pivot will work over that slope or ridges and enables a realistic costs for development to be understood prior to the moving of any earth.Pipeline modelling uses the same principles but calculates the total volumes of trenching, bedding, pipe deflection and placement of air and scour valves and spoil removal.
