Wiczer, Sheldon & Jacobs, LLC is a full-service boutique law firm, with areas of practice in business and commercial law, business and commercial litigation, estate and business succession planning, community association law, real estate, and employment and labor law.

As a Supreme Court of Illinois Rule 711 Licensed child representative and guardian ad litem in the ChildLaw clinic for Civitas ChildLaw Center at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, I developed legal positions and made oral arguments in juvenile and domestic relations courts, as well as communicated with caseworkers and child welfare professionals, visited foster homes, and interviewed clients.

As a law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, I co-founded the first law school-produced and student-ran podcast in the United States, serving as the editor-in-chief, executive producer and host. The podcast, titled "Dialogue, De Novo," served as a platform to define diverse ideas, build connections, and better understand differing viewpoints through in-depth discussions ranging from issues and events happening around the law school, to current culture, to politics. The podcast project was a student-initiated capstone project, and has continued since the founders' graduated. New episodes are available on various podcasting platforms, including iTunes, Stitcher, and SoundCloud.

As a judicial law clerk for Hon. Darryl B. Simko, I researched legal issues and relevant case law related to mortgage foreclosure and mechanics liens, reviewed and organized case files for judicial review, and audited court proceedings and assisted Judge Simko in maintaining a steady court docket flow.

As a summer associate, I assisted in various topics in the law firm's tax, health, and civil litigation departments. Some of these tasks included researching various municipality tax collection programs, competitive bid laws, and condominium association guidelines. Additionally, I drafted memoranda on updates in Alabama's health, employment, financial, and political action committee laws.

As a summer law clerk for Associate Justice James Gregory Shaw, I researched substantive and procedural issues pertaining to personal jurisdiction, motions to dismiss and discovery, drafted memoranda pertaining to pro se certiorari petitions, mandamus petitions, and appeals cases, and audited oral arguments and post-conference drafting decision discussions.

American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is a pro-Israel lobbying group headquartered in Washington, DC. As a policy conference associate, I was responsible for liaising between congressional offices, embassies and high-profile clientele to coordinate attendance at the 2015 AIPAC Policy Conference. Tasks included registering professional guests and maintaining spreadsheets of those attending the 2015 AIPAC Policy Conference Leadership Reception, entering data, and updated information regarding congressional and diplomatic scheduling.

Assistants at Inspire Entertainment are responsible for maintaining updated client availabilities, submitting clients for potential projects and preparing itineraries for clients. Day-to-day tasks included analyzing screenplays to identify if clients could be strategically placed into project to expand their bodies of work, rolling calls, scheduling appointments and handling confidential information.

Assistants in the music department are responsible for penning artist contracts for personal appearances and updating ticket counts to determine box office progression. Main responsibilities for floaters are to cover desks for absent assistants in Television Literary, Television Talent, Alternative Television, Motion Picture Literary, Motion Picture Talent, International and Independent Film, and Digital Strategy. Both positions involve rolling calls, scheduling appointments and handling confidential information.

Interns at ICM Partners are responsible for aiding assistants and agents in many aspects of their jobs, including organizational needs, researching and gathering data, and expediting information throughout the office. Researching films and digital applications that would benefit the agency's day-to-day operations were pertinent tasks when interning. Writing script coverage, building client resumes and creating organizational systems for new assistants were also required.

Counselors at Camp Ramah Darom are responsible for programming activities, looking after the children, and ensuring safety both inside and outside of the living quarters. Skills learned as a counselor include acting quickly, risk prevention, and handling matters internally. I received several bonuses for good performance. In addition to being a programming counselor, I was trip coordinator for 62 children, which lasted 10 days. I both planned, supervised, and executed the 10 day trip with five staff members and a small budget.

Marketing and group sales interns at the Augusta Entertainment Complex were responsible in assisting day-to-day activities at the James Brown Arena, William B. Bell Auditorium, and the USC Aiken Convocation Center. Responsibilities included ticket sales, grassroots efforts, event promotions, creating and editing flyers, group sales plans, and many other aspects that go into venue management. While at the Augusta Entertainment Center, I worked extensively with the Harlem Globetrotters show, helping to sell hundreds of extra tickets. The grassroots efforts led to many ticket trades and giveaways with local restaurants, radio stations, and bars. I also wrote a marketing promoter's guide for the complex.

Camp Yofi is a week-long summer camp for children with autism and their families. Sibling counselors are responsible for providing a nurturing environment for siblings of children with autism, while creating a fun camp experience. Sibling counselors undergo extensive training and preparation on autism and perpetuating a therapeutic environment, as well as planning several activities throughout the day separate from their families. Long hours are required of older sibling counselors in order to ensure the success of the older sibling program.

The job of the youth group advisor is to plan meetings, activities, and fundraise for the youth group, as well as ensure that the members of the board are participating in their leadership responsibilities.Raised attendance and consolidated power amongst the youth group board in order to avoid conflict.
