Key Responsibilities• Responsible for the initial set up of the new company site coordinating with the commercial team.• Responsibly for the operational set up including purchase of machinery, warehouse operations and recruitment.• Development of the Quality Management system for the Scottish profiling division adopted by head office.• Responsible for the overall accreditation of ISO 9000 following the operational set up.• Planning of work through production to ensure expected delivery dates met, including taking part in the daily meeting to update the commercial team of the progress and any potential risk to delivery dates.• Quality Assurance Management for 2 sites including all Internal Audits, control of the quality manual and related quality assurance processes. • Leading the annual Quality Management audits carried out by T.U.V. at both sites in Yorkshire and Scotland to ensure accreditation was maintained.• Health and Safety Manager for Scotland division including raising all risk assessments, planning of internal training and R.I.D.D.O.R.• Managing Logistics to meet customer requirements.• Inventory Control & Stock Management, ensuring material required to carry out production was available, met required specifications and material documentation was correctly controlled.• Organising and controlling bi-annual stock checks.• Providing holiday cover for both the stock controller and the CAD Operator.• Direct line management for a team of 15 across Production, Operations and Office Support.
