I have worked for West Midlands Police for several years, originally working in the kennels before progressing into a training role. My role entails training dogs in multiple disciplines including GP work and various Detection capabilities. In my current role I have trained dogs for both UK forces and other organisations. I have a degree in Animal Science, a level 3 in teaching and am currently studying a level 4 in canine behaviour. Top skills include; Training, Research, Teaching, Decoy work and Puppy development. I also have a wealth of experience in whelping, neonatal care and the training of early stage puppies.I continually attend various CPD related courses in order to gain new knowledge and hone my skills. These typically include decoy/helper workshops, detection workshops, behaviour seminars and canine first aid courses.
