My primary role as a Control Room Operator & SCADA Operator was to oversee the movements of as many as 20 semi-automated trains and to operate the SCADA desk, where I routinely controlled & isolated electrical equipment in 10 power substations. This position consisted of 12-hour shifts both day and night and required constant supervision of Electrical & Mechanical components, substation equipment, high-temperature alarms, tunnel ventilation systems and security equipment.
