Underwent several deployments and progressed in rank, predominantly based in Germany. Managed communications operations (35 personnel) for a Battalion Headquarters, incl. vehicle & telecommunications equipment management, intelligence gathering and extensive HR activities. Led a UK Careers function and managed several recruitment, Territorial Army and Reservist leadership/turnaround projects. _________________________________________________► Army Careers: Transformed Norfolk Army Careers office via policies, processes & systems, expediting hiring which resulted in 100% recruitment increase & Norfolk becoming the most successful in the eastern region.-Produced a training package for the new Graduate leadership programme with major training providers.-Managed a new initiative to get recruiting teams into Norfolk schools and colleges, with media campaign and presentation / lecture delivery in job centres, schools and colleges on Army careers and leadership principles. ► Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) Life Extension Programme Trial: Selected from thousands to drive a 6-week trial to test longevity of new diesel CVR (T) vehicles to MoD standards – included establishing operations & team, and briefing senior MOD officials & diplomats. After extensive testing, a £32M contract was awarded to Alvis.► Territorial Army Leadership / Transformation: Managed 85 territorial army soldiers, producing training programmes and written orders. Turned around retention via introduction of positive culture change, training and incentives. ► General: Produced articles for the Royal Signals Corps magazine (circulation 10k+) for 7+ years.
