Cost accounting responsibilities for Eden, NC and Michigan City, IN manufacturing facilities.

Responsible for all aspects of 50 person fabrication department including production, quality, safety, and planning. Also additional responsibilities of managing maintenance function across all departments of manufacturing facility.

Reporting directly to division controller with responsibilities for all financial aspects of 350k sqft manufacturing facility that accounted for $175m+ revenue annually. Working directly with site director, HR, and other managers on annual budgets, production forecast/capacities, capital request, headcount, and all reporting needs throughout the business. -Led 2016 VAVE team that uncovered more than $1m annualized product cost savings and pushed more than 75% through implementation before EOY. -Lead initiative that created $250k labor savings and developed reporting tools and process that helped establish initiative at 2 other manufacturing sites. Initiative helped facility reach record Q1 TLE with 10% YOY improvements. -Lead consecutive physical inventories of more than $25m in product with significantly less than 1% variance. -Received 2013 SPX innovation award for development of reporting tool that manufacturing facility still uses today to run daily production. -Requested and managed multiple CAPEX projects that resulted in >$50k annual saving. -Negotiated multiple service contracts resulting in annual savings from $25k-70k.

Responsible for developing AOP and monthly financial forecast. Oversee and manage annual Physical Inventory (~$20M+). Coordinate building and equipment leases for a $200M in sales manufacturing facility. Calculate and set annual production cost standards to account for DL, VOH, and FOH. Supervised the day to day activities of the facility IT department.

Responsible for reporting across Supply chain, Finance, Production, and Logistics. Created and scheduled BI reporting. Developed mechanism to transform sales forecast into production forecast. Worked with management to formulate strategic production philosophy. Responsible for assuring accuracy and reliability of MRP data out of ERP system.

Developed and maintained numerous business critical reports for the materials planning department of a Fortune 500 company. Maintained and controlled data setup in home grown unix based MRP system. One of two primary developers charged with building a relational database tying numerous AS400, unix systems, and Sequel databases into one place for calculating VMI TILs across all business units.

Created and maintained quality reports for 1.2M sq ft textile manufacturing facility. Took an antiquated reporting tool and streamlined/modernized it so that it could be ran daily instead of weekly. Responsible for testing and submittal of textile samples into Target and Wal-Mart quality approval programs. Developed quality related access databases that supplemented AS400 limitations.
