Frontend Engineer

São Paulo, Brazil

At PicPay, I accepted the challenge to create the Platform Infinite, our goal was to create a platform to improve the development experience over our backoffice products by giving a set of tools, such as an Nrwl Nx monorepository, a NestJS BFF with GraphQL, audit and error monitoring tools, and an architecture to be followed. The main objective of our project was to create a new platform that used a strangler pattern to replace part by part of the legacy.I also keep my work helping the community, by being an active member of the frontend guild and also having some frontends under my mentorship.

Jun 2021 - Dec 2022

Staff Frontend Engineer

If there is something that I love to do, is to share my knowledge and experience with my work colleagues, since I started working at TOTVS, I was able to help your frontend community to solve their technical problems and also be a mentor to some of my frontends colleagues. As a Staff, I could expand these boundaries by cross-working closely with other teams, helping them to design better solutions.I also was one of the founders and keepers of the frontend guild.

May 2021 - Jun 2021

Senior Frontend Engineer

Joinville E Região, Brasil

As a senior frontend engineer and Tech Lead, I participate in the whole process of three projects, Pages, Boards, and Collab, from the ideation process, to create the project and deliver to our customer. The Pages was a no-code platform that allow our customers to build landing pages just by dragging and dropping components into the screen, to do so, we used micro-frontends to enable these components to be language agnostic and also to allow our customers to build their components. We used Angular 6 at the start of this project and upgraded it to 7, to be able to use Custom Elements (released on this version). After the MVP was delivered, we improved the micro-frontend strategy of the project, to use it to run all of our and our partner's apps. The Boards was a project that helps company councils to organize their meetings, documents, and topics to be discussed during their sessions. This project was created using Angular 10 and it runs using the Pages structure. The Collab project was created when Angular 11 was released, and I was able to convince my work colleagues to use the strict mode (released in this version), doing that, we enforced the best part of the typescript using strict type checks and all the advantages that come with strong types classes and interfaces. Talking about the project itself, it was a project created during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was used to help the company teams that were working remotely organize their workforce, tasks, agendas, and more.

Oct 2019 - May 2021

Intermediate Frontend Engineer

Joinville, Santa Catarina

As an intermediate frontend engineer, I was able to help my team to create the Forms Project, which helps our customers (mid to large companies) build internal forms for their employees using a no-code platform. This project was created using Angular 4.Because of my previous knowledge in c#, I also had the opportunity to work in a partnership with Microsoft to solve some issues in our chatbot that was designed to solve our customer's doubts about our platform.

Feb 2018 - Oct 2019

Full-Stack Developer

Joinville E Região, Brasil

Because of my previous knowledge of web development, I was responsible for leading the rewriting of their APS solution (Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems) from On-Premises into SaaS. We were going from VB and Razor to C# and AngularJS.As a small company, I also got the responsibility to manage all your DevOps resources hosted in Azure, and I built our continuous delivery strategy that integrates the PRs open on the TFS and deployed them to a dev environment for testing. When a PR was merged into the main, we deployed the code into a staging environment to warm it up before swapping to prod, to grant that everything would be up and running and doing so, not stopping our customers' operations.

Mar 2015 - Feb 2018

Development Analyst

Master Sistemas

Joinville E Região, Brasil

I joined this company by an invitation from the coordinator of my college to help them to organize their ERP solution. They were using structured programming, and my challenge was to teach them how to use OOP and break down the code in a way that was better to maintain.

Sep 2014 - Mar 2015

Full-Stack Developer

I was responsible for the creation of the help center, a web application using AngularJS (it started with version 0.11), and used Java as the backend. We were able to reduce over 30% of our support tickets by allowing our customers to have access to well-organized documentation of the company ERP.
