Supervising picking of frozen, fresh & ambient goods.Supervising and checking goods once picked and loading of goods onto the transport.Receipting goods in both physically and onto the computer.Processing miscellaneous orders onto the computer, producing picking notes, bulk & individual, delivery notes for the drivers and invoices as required.Generating replenishment sheets on the computer & distributing the work to the team.Ensuring the warehouse is clean & tidy.Ensuring that we comply to heath and safety guidelines at all times.Implementing new procedures to meet the changing needs of a rapidly growing company.

Day to day running and supervision of the service department.Book vehicles into the workshop for repair and maintenance.Ensuring the workshop has enough work to run to full capacity at all times.Ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards. Working on a rotating shift basis to cover 8am 8pm opening times.Taking orders and picking parts from storage for customer collection and delivery.Ordering parts for customers as and when required when stock is not available.Advising customers on legislation and health and safety issues relevant to running their vehicles.

Dealing with customer enquiries for the service and parts departments.Booking customer and fleet trucks into the workshop for services and MOTs. Completing Warrantee Claims and Repair & Maintenance details for contract vehicles through the Foden Dealership Computer Network.

In order to qualify as an HGV mechanic I completed a three year modern apprenticeship. This included forty weeks at Soundwell College gaining formal qualifications and the remaining time training with a qualified mechanic in a fully functional workshop environment.
