Over the course of his career Richard has planned and led the development of all major focus areas within Human Resources. This includes work in employee relations, labor relations, recruitment, employee safety, and worker’s compensation. In addition to being both a trainer and mentor, he is most noted for his extensive work in the area of total compensation and employee benefits.Most recently, Richard has begun serving as an Expert Witness in civil litigation, utilizing his extensive knowledge and expertise in Human Resources to assist plantiffs and defendents. The knowledge, experience and expertise he has gained while working for organizations with thousands of employees, as well as that of his associates, is now available to employers of all sizes. This includes small and mid-size employers as well as start-up companies. Employee Benefit News, a widely circulated industry trade journal honored Mr. Lord by selecting him as a recipient of its coveted “Judges Choice” Benny Award. The Benny Award is annual recognition program sponsored by the magazine to recognize benefit practitioners for their innovative work.
