Richard Main has more than forty years of experience in the Central London office market during which he has developed a wide range of property expertise with a particular focus on client relationship management (including strategic advice) and on lease advisory matters. In the latter regard, he has extensive experience of major rent review cases throughout Central London providing expert witness evidence on many occasions and working closely with various solicitors and Counsel on legal cases.Richard Main was a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the RICS Panel who interview both new and existing arbitrators and independent experts in order validate their position or otherwise for inclusion / continued inclusion on the President’s panel of Commercial Arbitrators and Independent Experts on rent review matters. He is also a former Member of the Legal Advisory Board of the Estates Gazette and of the RICS Valuation Panel who devised the Practice Note on the devaluation of lease incentives.He is retired as of 2022.
