Promoted to a role within the IMGsystems division to work closely with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) regarding technology reference platforms. I defined the vision with the Scrum product owner and led the user experience for the websites for marketing the proposition, web app functionality, and developer documentation for an Internet of Things cloud platform based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS concepts.

Performed a product management role delivering a cross-platform UX for an audio ecosystem of mobile apps and smart devices connected to cloud services. I led collaboration with an external design agency facilitating the specification of a music streaming and Internet radio iOS app connecting to wireless speakers. Extended the design to Android and new features, managing the implementation by user stories for Kanban, pioneering the use of behaviour-driven development (BDD), and supervising the delivery by an internationally distributed cross-functional team. Explored product concepts for wearables, smart button, and a Smart Home mobile app and improved UX of developer website and tools for an IoT cloud platform.

Promoted to a role architecting, designing, and prototyping smart device user interfaces. I investigated the feasibility of Android and Linux-based devices, proactively refined the design of a radio mobile app and the proposals for a smart multi-room music system. Influenced marketing director that needed a coherent cross-platform user experience for growing ecosystem, initiated and drove a project to explore a strategic vision.

Created own new role taking ownership of smart device user interfaces on recognising the impact of post-iPhone mobile technology on consumer expectations. Collaborated on the concept and user experience of a Linux-based touchscreen connected device for radio and music streaming, defined the interaction design, architected and developed the user interface from the ground up, from framework to widgets and final product interface.
