With over 30 years experience as a business leader, an architect, an urban designer, a board member, a CEO, a Harvard academic and an executive coach I've had the pleasure to work with clients around the world.My focus is the intersection of business strategy, people and culture.Helping clients find success has given me a unique insight and point of view. This has combined the design and delivery of buildings with the urban design and the master planning of new environments in the United States, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, The United Arab Emirates and China.Cities as diverse as Christchurch, Boston, Dubai, Shanghai, Beijing, and Singapore have benefited from my efforts in restoring of the public realm in urban life. My academic work has been cited broadly and translated into Chinese and Arabic with numerous articles and three books: Emerging Urbanity – Global Urban Projects in the Asia Pacific Rim (2003), Waterfronts in Post Industrial Cities (2001), both published by Spon Press; and Designing the American City (2003), published by China Architecture and Building Press.
