Having experienced a long and successful career in international trade I particularly enjoy and appreciate that famous quotation from Alexander Pope recorded in 1733."What war would ravish, commerce could bestow, and he returned a friend who came a foe."In addition to believing in, and supporting, fair and honest trade throughout the world, I am also committed to preventing the loss of life and properties from fire. Beyond that commitment is a desire to protect the environment wherever and whenever possible.
