About Richard Mayne
In my role as a Training Architect at SUSE I am responsible for furthering the understanding and acceptance of SUSE’s solutions within internal employee teams, partners and customers. I also help to shape the future of training delivery at SUSE. My role involves providing a structured curriculum of technical training and tools to address the needs of our customers, our worldwide ecosystem of partners and our technical employees. The ability to communicate technical knowledge of SUSE products to a wide variety of audiences via different medium is key to this role. Course materials are prepared for both elearning and instructor lead delivery. I have previously been involved with SUSE Manager and SUSE Enterprise Storage along with SUSE Linux Enterprise but as the team has grown my focus has narrowed to focus on SLES for SAP Applications and High Availability both on premises and cloud hosted. SUSE have recently collaborated with SAP and I have created and delivered courses for the openSAP platform. The openSAP platform provides high quality elearning training for zero cost to the attendees.
