I have the pleasure of working at "The Greatest Little Port in the World" as a member of the executive team of Arawak Port Development Ltd. In our first full year of operation the Florida Ship Owners Group named us the most productive Port in the Caribbean.We continue to refine our efficiencies and upgrade our operating systems in an effort to remain a benchmark for best in class port operations.Our Bahamian Destination Management Company, Great Events Bahamas provides a world class DMC service in the Bahamas. As an all Bahamian team with over 20 years deeply entrenched in our tourism industry we understand the opportunities we have to showcase the greatness of the Bahamas experience, and the knowledge of how to execute it.Richard has been involved in the Tourism Industry in the Bahamas since 1986 and has been involved in many local Organizations and Initiatives which have advanced the Bahamas in the International Tourism Business. Those have included Founding Chair of the Bahamas 100 Day Challenge, Founder of the Bahamas Attraction Association, and one of the Founders and Chairman for two terms of the Nassau Tourism and Development Board. In addition Richard was involved in local community service through Rotary International which culminated in the position of Rotary International District Governor for District 7020 which included 10 countries and 4 Territories in the Northern Caribbean.Specialties: Tourism and Community Service
