About Richard Mccorkell

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Richard has settled into Raleigh, NC to pursue his work in the fields of TV/Video & Audio production, journalism, music and ministry. He is the owner/operator of Reluctant Icon, a Media Production Company.As a producer, TV personality and music composer, he has been involved in many multimedia projects in both business and entertainment. He studied music performance at Berklee College of Music. Richard has also extensively toured the United States, Canada and Mexico in various venues for music and the performing arts.Richard does sound design and voice-overs for various projects, such as video game development.He has co-authored a book titled “Religion, Race & Relationship” that deals with his personal journey in regards to the dynamics and differences of culture, the church and interracial marriage.Along with being an interviewer for various TV platforms, Richard produced "Coffee & Cream”, a television show that he co-hosts with his wife, Crystal.
