Took the Security Operation at a DoD site from 16 hours 5 days a week to 24/7 within two months.Designed a MS Access Database to track Security operations such as Daily activity, tours, badge inventory, Parcel checks, Incident Reports… and to produce reports quickly by just entering parameters such as date range.In my second year we got a superior rating from DSS security inspection, the highest rating and the first one for this company, and got the superior rating for three consecutive years.Oversaw the upgrade and installation of the S2 Security system, OnSII Video Surveillance, and the Fire control system.Streamlined the OnSII Video system to get more significant recording time from 13 days after installation to 35 days with 50 cameras on 6 TB drive.Interfaced the S2 and OnSII systems so that the alarms would trigger the cameras to record and the PTZ cameras to move to the location of the alarm and record.Designed a MS SharePoint site for security and designed MS InfoPath forms to reduce the use of paper and automate the process. One of the forms Contractor No-Escort Badge Request not only made the process paperless but reduced manpower time in processing the form by 95% from an average of 1 hour to 10 minutes per form.Upgraded the standard security drills for the Security Officer to more realistic drills and increased the frequency from once a month to 3-4 per month, received an award in my third year for the best trained team.
