    Managed a community development staff that grew over my tenure with Woodstock to 18 individuals in four divisions; including Planning and Zoning, Building Department, GIS and Development Services in order to facilitate corporate, retail and residential development in the City of Woodstock.Envisioned and established the framework allowing the first urban development to be built in suburban Atlanta in 2006; allowing for a 33 acre mixed-use development by Hedgewood Properties transforming Downtown Woodstock into an urban environmentImplemented a ground breaking effort in conjunction with a consulting company to develop, write and adopt a new downtown master plan and zoning code. Guided City Council through the zoning and planning process to facilitate the changes enabling urban design.Led a steering committee that developed the award winning Greenprints Master Plan in 2008. This plan allowed for connection of residents to various parks, schools, neighborhoods, downtown and other key amenities offered by the city. It also created a conservation plan for green space and green infrastructure enabling residents to bypass the need vehicular transportation.
