My primary function is to support, encourage, coach, and focus our employees on providing our members with reliable electric power delivery at reasonable prices. We strive to live the seven cooperative principles and support our communities with electrician services as well as generator sales and servicing.

Coordinate regulatory compliance with NERC and Texas RE Reliability Standards. This included assisting staff in the development of policies, procedures and documenation of all aspects of operational reliability compliance as well as facilitating and preparing teams for external audits.• Successfully managed teams for 6 NERC/TRE Audits, 2 Joint Registrations, 1 Spot Check, 3 CIP Self Reports and numerous Self Certifications and Data Requests.• Supported the 8 Distribution Members with consulting services.• Texas Reliability Entity (ERCOT): Reliability Standards Committee (Cooperative sector), 2009-2011; Member Representatives Committee (Cooperative sector); 2010-2011

Supported General Manager / CEO in all aspects of corporate utility management.• Brought Financial/Market studies in house saving well over $250,000. This included: Long Range Financial Forecast, Load Forecast Study and Equity management / Cost of Money studies, Ratio Analysis (NRUCFC and USDA RUS).• Managed FEMA recapture after 2003 Hurricane Claudette ($424,574.12).• Coordinated donation of surplus materials to Central America – KEC received NRECA Humanitarian Award (about 2001).

Managed and secured contracts for over 10,000 utility end-use consumers through new construction and switchovers in high-growth, metropolitian area. This included electric, natural gas and telecommunications services.

Managed and administered all aspects of the MMS Dept including communications, public relations, customer service, bankrupticies, easement procurement, etc.

CONUS - Primarily served as a NBC/Chemical Operations (54B) Senior MOS Instructor. Overseas duties included Squad Leader and Chemical Reconnaissance NCOIC (XVIII Airborne, 24th INF, 91st Chemical and 327th Chemical - Gulf War I (Desert Shield and Storm: KSA and Iraq) and Battalion Chemical Operations Staff NCO (JCTF Jaguar, Central America). Education includes Advanced NCO Course, Instructor Training Course, Battle Staff Course, and Chemical Operations level 4.
