Managing a Union Square ERP implementation is a complex change management project, which involves providing business system consultancy, configuring the software to the customer’s requirements, migrating data and testing. With overall project responsibility, I had to ensure plans were set, controlled and scope creep was kept to a minimum while communicating credibly and sympathetically at all levels of a business.I was also involved in key strategic internal projects. The first was to develop a best practice solution for AEC firms with less than 50 employees. This best practice solution was adopted as our base solution for all implementations. Another internal project I ran was to create a proposal calculator, which standardised our proposal creation process for the sales team. This activity used to take 3 to 4 hours per proposal and now takes a few minutes. • Developed a standard implementation methodology for the business• Successfully delivered against targets• Delivered numerous reference site projects
