I am an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Jefferson School of Health Professions and teach 7 college courses, and portions of three others. The newest course is Basic ECG Interpretation.I will also be lecturing a combined class for the ICVT and ECHO students to discuss how we integrate multiple imaging modalities into invasive cardiovascular medicine.The graduate students from Jefferson school of Health Professions just published Octogenarians and Issues in Cath Lab Care.I am beginning classes in medical coding and billing at Drexel University in March 2015. I will assist the medical coders in cardiology services and look for opportunities to sub-contract my services to physician groups and health care facilities. I will graduate from this program in early 2016. These include Invasive Principles 1 and 2, Invasive Procedures 1 and 2, Review seminar for the Registries, ECG interpretation, and Emerging Trends in Cardiovascular Imaging.We use The cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Handbook(Kern), Grossmans book, Braunwald's book and Dubin's Book of ECG interpretation.We also use the Wes Todd CD and have found him to be a valuable resource with his interactive CD's. He is also easy to reach, which is very helpful and impressive. I was fortunate enough to be a contributor to his most recent book upgrades and learned a great deal from assisting him in this project. -

This includes neurovascular, cardiac, electrophysiology and general vascular experience. I have performed the most complex intervnetions from head to toe and am comfortable working in a variety of clinicla settings.Currently, I chair 2 hospital committees and serve on three others, which has developed my leadership skills and ability to work with my peers.I am trained to trobleshoot and upgrade the imaigng, archiving and reporting systems for the cardiac cath lab. One of the most important initiatives was to generate real time image transfers, the ability for physicians to create and send finalized repsorts immedialty after procedures and to upgrade the scripts and technology to enhance the work quality in the lab.I work with the radiation safety officer to maximize patient and staff safety. this includes garment and equipment inspections, safety lectures for the staff, and utilization of enhanced safety features in the labs.I provide lectures on Point of Care Testing, cardiac hemodynamics and the use of ultraso8und based technologies in invasive cardiovascular medicine.

Combat Medic 91BUs Army Jul 1980 - Jul 1986Ft Devens Ma3 years active duty, 1 year active reserve, 2 years inactive reserve.I worked in the emegency room, ran the sexually transmitted disease clinic and developed a comprehensive, lifelong learning inservice program for combat medics.I received the ARMY achievment medal for creating this program, which increased the competency and skill sets of combat medics.I was an ACLS and BCLS instructor during active duty service.
