Supervising a team of facility technicians in a state of the art Bio Pharmaceutical R&D and production facility. Main responsibility is to ensure the integrity of critical facility utility operations in a GxP environment. This includes maintenance and repair of all HVAC systems and electrical distribution equipment. Manage daily work flow of direct reports utilizing CMMS (MAXIMO) to ensure timely completion of PM work, equipment repair and customer requests. Monitor and respond to alarm conditions identified through building automation system (Rockwell and Delta controls). Work with vendors to solicit quotes, secure contracts and complete projects for work considered outside the scope of in-house staff. Help train, and set thoughtful/relevant goals for teammates. Focus on building a strong team environment and removing any roadblocks for team success.

Supervise daily activities, set goals, and write annual performance reviews of direct reports. Ensure all electrical and HVAC equipment is maintained and operating properly. Respond to daily customer requests. Plan yearly capital budgets. Manage HVAC and electrical improvement and replacement projects. Maintain critical data center equipment including UPS, Power Distribution, HVAC and automatic transfer switches. Strong focus on customer satisfaction, team building, controls, energy management and energy conservation.

Primary responsibilities involved ensuring proper operation of a wide variety of mechanical equipment by monitoring building EMS and performing persistent commissioning services, installations, repairs and PM as needed. Main customers being the Prudential Center complex in Boston MA and Bose Corp. worldwide headquarters in Framingham MA.

Supported office, factory, R&D, retail and warehousing infrastructure of all types. Installed and maintained BAS. Implemented a wide variety of energy conservation strategies greatly reduced energy consumption.

Shop lead technician. Responsible for all aspects of electric motor repair. Bearing replacement, coil winding, motor winding and testing of all types of electric motors.
